A student and teacher of the art and science of Yoga for almost 25 years, Stephanie is passionate about bringing an open heart, soul depth, and playful exploration to her classes. She firmly believes in meeting students where they are in their practice. With a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, she worked professionally in the healthcare and fitness industries before experiencing Yoga in 1999. It was a natural next step for her to practice and study Yoga as it addresses the individual person as a whole being; mind, body, and energy/spirit. She has studied a wide variety of Yoga systems and traditions, receiving her primary certification from the School of Integrative Yoga Therapy in 2006 and is a longtime member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. With an abundance of experience teaching both groups and individuals, as well as diverse and special needs populations ranging from pre-school age to adult, she is committed to teaching how to bring personalized and practical applications of Yoga from classes into daily life for the betterment of overall health and well-being.
