Clinical Hypnotherapy

Harness the power of your own subconscious mind through hypnotherapy.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a focused, deeply relaxed state that can help you access patterns of thought, behavior, and response that may be difficult to change through conscious effort alone.

Hypnotherapy can be a supportive and effective way to address personal concerns, change unwanted habits, and develop new ways of thinking and living.

Don't let old patterns hold you back. Revitalize your mind, become more present, and discover new possibilities for living with greater awareness, confidence, and ease.

The path to inner happiness can begin with mindfulness, self-awareness, and learning to live more fully in the here and now.

What can clinical hypnotherapy help with?

Clinical hypnotherapy may be used to support a variety of personal goals and concerns, including:

Frequently asked questions about clinical hypnosis

Will I lose control or say something I do not want to?

Not at all. You stay aware and in charge throughout the session. Clinical hypnosis is a state of relaxed, focused attention. You can hear everything, speak, move, or open your eyes whenever you like. You decide what to share, and nothing will be suggested that does not align with your goals and values.

What if I cannot be hypnotized?

You are likely already familiar with this state. Think of that moment in the morning right before you fully wake. Your body is still heavy and relaxed, yet you are clearly aware of the sounds and space around you.

You may have also experienced something similar when driving home without remembering every detail of the drive, or becoming completely absorbed in a good book.

Clinical hypnosis simply guides you into a familiar state of focused attention with purpose. If you feel skeptical or nervous, that is perfectly okay. We will talk it through first.

What if I fall asleep?

This is a very common concern. Many people feel so relaxed that they assume they dozed off, when they were actually experiencing a deep, restful state of clinical hypnosis.

Throughout the session, your practitioner pays close attention to how you are doing and gently guides you if you begin to drift too far.

Will I have to relive something painful?

No. You set the pace, and nothing is forced. If emotions come up, you will be guided to look at them from a safe, comfortable distance rather than being asked to re-experience them.

The goal is for you to leave feeling calm, grounded, and steady.

I have tried everything. Why would this be different?

Many habits and patterns can operate below conscious awareness, which is why willpower alone isn't always enough. Clinical hypnotherapy works with focused attention and therapeutic suggestions to help you explore and change those patterns.

For some people, it can be an important missing piece in their personal wellness journey.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on you and your goals. Some people experience meaningful changes within a few sessions, while others may benefit from additional sessions.

Together, you will create a plan, check in along the way, and never continue longer than you need.

Is this hocus-pocus, or is it science?

Clinical hypnosis has been studied in medical and psychological research for decades. Research has found potential benefits for areas including pain management, anxiety, and irritable bowel syndrome, although results can vary depending on the condition, individual, and type of hypnosis used.
